Residential "Assisted Living"

The services provided are tailored to meet the individual's supervision, care, & support needs. Lori Knapp Companies will be responsible for managing the staffing patterns at the home and ensuring that staff are trained, qualified, and have had criminal background checks completed prior to working in any Assisted Living home. Home-Like Environment: We take pride in the fact that residences within the Lori Knapp Companies system are "homes". Although we're a business, we work hard to keep a home-like environment for our Assisted Living homes. We strive to have as much of a "least institutional" feel and style as possible. Furnishings are provided, but personal items & belongings are encouraged, so personal living space is unique and special. Any Lori Knapp Companies Assisted Living home is more than just a "house"… it is a unique "home." Accommodation Options: Each of our Assisted Living homes have unique amenities and features that help us provide quality services in a comfortable homelike environment. Our Lori Knapp Companies caregiving teams will provide consistent, quality cares that encourage dignity and safety. They are trained to provide quality care for persons with unique and special needs. The core team includes a staff of trained direct support workers to provide for your support needs, as well as a Residential Coordinator to supervise all caregiving efforts and activity. To promote consistency and quality, mandatory trainings are provided to meet the changing needs of the people we serve. Because the Lori Knapp Companies serves many different types of people, our trainings cover many different areas, including: safety & well-being, privacy & confidentiality, client rights, prevention of abuse and neglect, medication oversight, diabetic care, specific dietary needs, non-violent crisis intervention for persons with challenging behaviors, seizures, promoting health and wellness, needs and assessment, supervised on the job training, and additional state-mandated trainings. If there are special care needs, your staff will be trained to meet those needs. Having adequate team members on-site to serve you is the key to success. Each Assisted Living home is staffed to meet the individuals supervision and care needs. In some instances and areas around the state of Wisconsin, nursing supervision is requested. As such, the caregiving team may include an RN supervisor.
